Jennifer and I met while working together at CVS in Naples, Florida. Over the years, we became close friends. When life circumstances changed dramatically for both of us, our friendship quickly evolved into so much more. We knew right away that it was meant to be and this was going to last forever. While on a Disney Cruise in the Carribean, we proposed to each other on June 5, 2013 while in St. Thomas. We have never been happier and look forward to spending the rest of our lives together. 

We knew we wanted to get married in a state where our union would be legally recognized and figured we would be heading to the northeast, but with the recent legalization in Hawaii we knew at once it was the perfect opportunity for our dream wedding. Our ceremony will take place on Poolenalena Beach in Maui, Hawaii on March 3, 2014. We will exchange vows while the sun sets over the Pacific and to music provided by a violinist. Our ceremony will be a Christian ceremony combined with Hawaiian influences. In addition to exchanging vows and rings, we will also exchange leis and present McKinley with a lei that signifies our unity and devotion as a family. 

We will be spending a total of seven fun filled exciting days in Maui, Hawaii and staying at the Grand Wailea Resort. Our planned activities include a helicopter tour over Maui and the Big Island, zip lining through the Upcountry on Maui's north shore, a day trip taking in the beautiful scenery along the Road to Hana including swimming under a natural waterfall, paddle boarding, snorkeling, and swimming in the Pacific, whale watching, and spending our first morning as wives watching the sunrise from Mt. Haleakala's summit 10,000 feet above sea level.
